Meeting at the Gera Tavern Tonight

Reminder to all members, tonight is the last meeting before the show this weekend. Please come to the Gera Tavern tonight around 7pm for our meeting. We’ll have last minute business and duty assignments for volunteers.

This meeting is crucial to the planning for the 2011 Gera Old Tractor Days.
Please feel free to join us at the Gera Tavern on Tuesday April 19th around 7pm.
On the agenda will be final preparations for the Pig Roast that takes place on May 15th and also distribution of raffle tickets.

2011 Gera Old Tractor Club Pig Roast & Collector Calendar Sale

It’s that time of year again! Time for a delicious pig roast at the Gera Tavern. This is also the first opportunity for the public to get their hands on the Gera Old Tractor Calendar.
Location: Gera Tavern – M-83 North of Frankenmuth
When: May 15th, 2011
We serve a great meal consisting of pulled pork and sides and dessert. The price is $8.00 per plate.
There will also be a raffle drawing. Tickets are available from club members or at the Gera Tavern.
Collectors Calendars will be available for $4.00 at the pig roast and aftewards from club members. Don’t miss your chance to get one for your shed!

Here is a nice photo of a couple of Farmalls at the 2010 Gera Old Tractor Days. These are owned by club members and long time friends, Bud Davidson & Jack Wiehl. The corn husker in the background is owned by the club and demonstrated each year at the show. 
3rd Annual Consignment Auction–Consignments wanted

The consignment auction will be held on Friday June 17th at 6pm sharp at Reinbold’s Service Center at the corner of M-46 and M-83 north of Frankenmuth.
We are now looking for donations or consignments. Items that are wanted are: old tractors, antique farm equipment, horse drawn equipment, shop and woodworking tools, lawn tractors, utility trailers and other related items. Please, no household items. Call Gerald from Hecht Auctions for details at 989-652-2242. Call before June 7th to get your item advertised.
This is a donation and consignment auction. Items can be donated with 100% of the proceeds of the sale going to the Gera Old Tractor Club to support their activities of preserving our agricultural heritage. Sellers can also choose to consign their items with 25% of the proceeds going to the Gera Old Tractor Club and 75% of the proceeds going to the seller. Sellers choosing to consign their items will pay a 10% buyback fee for any unsold items.
